Updates and the like

So,

I thought i’d clump all the Toon news together this week. It wasnt a planned idea, but i got to Wednesday and thought that i’d wait til Friday to divulge all the news from Toonland.

So it all started with a very good draw against the Mackams. Considering we played quite shoddily, i was quite pleased with the draw.

That draw took us out of the top 10, but it wont be long until we are back in there.

In other news, Glenn Roeder has decided that he is going to try and single handedly rob Newcastle of everybody of worth.

He started with Lee Clark, taking him to Carrow Road to be Assistant Manager. He then decided to deny that he was bringing Ameobi to Carrow Road.

Please, take him, we wont struggle with you.

However next up was Matty Pattison, who is a good talented player. At least he’s only on loan until January.

In other news, Stephan Carr decided that he was going to call time on his Republic of Ireland career. Which i can see as a good thing to be honest. It means he can concentrate on keeping fit for Newcastle and keep him playing consistently for us. Something which many of players struggle to do.

Also, somewhat amazingly Joey Barton managed to get off scot-free from the F.A with his challenge on Dickson Etuhu last weekend.

On a personal note, i was temporarily embarrassed to be a Newcastle fan. Simply because that was a malicious and vile challenge from a player who can be best described as a liability.
