the hardest part is letting go

By: j | December 6th, 2008

Mike Ashley’s problems with Kevin Keegan are not over as the former manager has begun legal proceedings to recover £8m of wages left on his contract when he left. A three-man panel of Premier League officials will hear his argument that he was effectively forced to resign by Mike Ashley and the evil, mingling ways of Dennis Wise. The club will most likely contend that his decision to resign was completely his and he not was coerced to do so.

With the club clinging to hopes of a purchase in the new year and relegation and the ensuing revenue drop a legitimate concern, the club is quickly moving towards a out-of-contract settlement. Fully aware of this, Kevin Keegan’s team tactically launched this with sufficient time before the new year.
