James - very good point and I wish more people were as passionate about the squad's play as the front office situation. I wish we had as many people talking about Football as administrative issues.

I get what you do, but the overly wrought out dramatics of the NUFC fan base is getting to be a bit too much. There is a season to play and while the outlook is not rosy, which I never said it was, I'd prefer to focus on the task at hand of not getting relegated. If you think things are bad now, imagine if NUFC gets relegated. The club has a hard enough time attracting top talent being in the premiership.

James, I appreciate your opinion and support of the club however I report information on a blog and don't use it has a paid-for statement of the club. If the club operates in a foolish manner, I will say it just as I will comment on the opposite. I hope you understand that my comment is meant with good intentions towards you but equally won't sit by a spin a yarn that things are rosy. They are not and if supporters like yourself stand up and be counted, they can change for the better. Thanks again for your joining in.

I wish I could stay on board the hate train...but there is a season to be played and a team full of good players to support.

Mike Ashley bought the team, he's obviously not going to bow to the pressure of the fans, and he doesnt seem intent on selling NUFC. Now, im not drinking the fat man's kool-aid but its time to move forward. Keegan isnt coming back to coach players he doesnt want. If you support the club, support the club. If you support Kevin Keegan, wish him the best and move forward. He aint coming back.

If anything, the players will need the fanbase's support in the weeks ahead. What's worse: Mike Ashley staying on as owner or relegation?
