PSV match
By: j | August 6th, 2008***FINAL UPDATE***I know you’ll be shocked but this friendly ended in a 2-2 draw (what a friendly ends in a draw?). PSV tied the match when Chivas alumni, Carlos Salcido, who was
somehow left out of Sven-Göran Eriksson first lineup for El Tri, volleyed across to Nordin Ambrabat who slammed the ball to the back of the net.
***UPDATE***As a quick update, at the half Newcastle is ahead 2-1 on a Steven Tyler (3′) header from corner and a Danny Guthrie goal five minutes later. Ibrahim Affellay brought PSV back with a goal at the thirty-second minute to complete the half.
Updates to follow post match.
