With the speed and the aggressive style of the Premier league, he would have been injured too much. I like Aimar, he could have been a fantastic player without all his injuries. But the truth is that Jonas is better than him right now, and they play more or less at the same position. If Jonas won’t have problems with his contract, I think it’s better for Newcastle that Aimar doesn’t arrive.
