Owen Saga
By: rich | October 9th, 2007People are hellbent on trying to make mountains out of molehills over Owen’s injury. In my opinion he shouldnt be in the England Squad this week, he should be concentrating on getting fully fit, however i understand that England will probably require his services over the forthcoming week.
The Sun, if anybody saw it today have constantly been saying that there is a rift between Big Sam and Owen. All Big Sam wants is what is best for the Toon, and i am sure Owen does aswell.
I just hope that they can lay this story to bed over the next few days, because quite simply, its doing nobody any good whatsoever.

Well, it’s international week and the press need something to whine about. In my opinion, if he can score goals for Newcastle, then he should be match-fit enough for England, simple as that. But if I was a Newcastle fan, I might feel differently.
