no, but I can make the Mallorca trip
By: j | July 24th, 2008
Majorca (Catalan: Mallorca) is a stunning island in the Mediterranean Sea with a seemingly never-ending range of panoramic views. Now before I make a feeble attempt at sounding like a travel guide, you might just want to put it in your list of possible vacations.
Or of-course if you’re Michael Owen, you can also announce that while you’re getting over a nasty case of the mumps and you won’t be able to run-out in the upcoming Doncaster friendly, you should be able to come along for the Mallorca trip.
I recognize Michael has been doing all he can and trust me, adult cases of mumps is now laughing matter (fyi - do a little search of “Orchitis”) but there is a sense of irony of todays professional game. Yes I can go to Mallorca, what time does the spa open?
That aside it’ll be great to see him back and I do hope he’s feeling much better. And as a further note, while I likely won’t be able to make the Doncaster trip myself, I would have no problem blogging from Mallorca.

j, I gotta say you deserve a trip to Mallorca, what with all the hot transfer rumors you’ve collected from a team who is notoriously mum about such news/speculation. Maybe I’ll meet you there, sir!

Aaron - there is a lot to be said right now with Newcastle and I dont think fans will like to hear some of it to be honest, so I’ve kept some posts on the side. The timing of Sports Direct capital has put a massive dent in club operations and Kevin Keegan’s managerial ability will be put to utmost test.
