Michael Owen – out, again

Newcastle confirmed that skipper Michael Owen is likely to miss the upcoming match against Man City after straining a groin in practice. He has been an instrumental leader since Kevin Keegan’s departure and sorely missed.

Newcastle will have Oba Martins, Habib Beye and Jonás Gutiérrez spidey-sense back for the match.
