James Milner wants out
By: j | August 27th, 2008With Aston Villa apparently tabling £9m an offer for the twenty-two year old England U21, James Milner has emphatically stated he wants out of Newcastle and fast.
Per a club statement:
“We have yet to receive an offer for James that matches our valuation.”
“However, should such an offer be received then the club will be reluctantly forced to consider it, given James’s apparent desire to leave.”
Given the transfer window will close on Monday, this deal will be completed very quickly and yesterday’s Carling Cup victory is likely the final time we see James with Newcastle.

I think losing Milner will be very bad for Newcastle. He’s young, talented, a grafter and he doesn’t have an ego the size of Dyers paycheck.
Given the history of some of our recent acquisitions, giving the lad a few more quid seems to be not only a cheap option, but a very sensible one. If he goes, where does that leave KK?
We had a scare with Steve Taylor, lets not lose one of our other bright young prospects.Posted from
