Habib Beye red card rescinded
By: j | October 23rd, 2008Newcastle received a solid boost as they won the appeal on Habib Beye’s red-card from the Man City. He had been given a red-card by referee Rob Styles who had adjudged him pulling down Robinho in the penalty area. However from a different angle it was easy to see that Habib had first made contact with the ball and undeserving of a straight red. He is now available for this weekends derby against Sunderland.
