adieu Charles N’Zogbia

France Football is reporting that Charles N’Zogbia, know of one-hundred appearances for the Magpies, is tabling a talk with Kevin Keegan about his future with the club. Charles, who has seen his playing time dwindle since the managerial change is said to be interested in a transfer, noting Arsenal or Tottenham. He has linked to move to Arsenal last summer but decided to stay with the club and signed a five year contract through 2012 at the time.

I caught a few Toon matches last season where he participated and he looked good in pretty much all of them. He certainly has a lot of flair (which is something this team still dreadfully lacks)and pace going down that left side. Still, it looks like he lacks in character with all the going-staying talk dragging around throughout the season.
