This is good news for us i think, simply because we have been bullied out of the midfield in parts this season. Although Nicky Butt is good at times, he doesnt have the presence that a player like Barton does, in my opinion.
According to the story, Joey Barton has been a terrible patient. Almost every day pestering the Backroom staff. Its good to see that in a player i think. It shows commitment and strength.
Anyway, a quick prediction me thinks.
This game has a draw written all over it. 1-1 i think, with a nice Owen goal to boot.
