Which is good news for me, and hopefully good news for you.

Anyway down to business,

KK(Kevin Keegan) has reiterated the importance of this weekends game. When talking to SkySports today he said “”Three points there and I think we should be safe – I’ve always said 40 points but with teams down the bottom having to play each other – probably less than 40 will do.”

Now thats confidence for you. It is in my opinion, far too early for us to be saying that. We may lose horrifically tomorrow and be back at square 1. Reading will be thinking the same and will want to grab the three points. He understands the importance of the game, but we shouldnt be thinking of safety so flippantly. We cant go into tomorrows game thinking 1 win will do and then we can relax. We need two wins at least before we can say that.

As for rebuilding the team, its blatantly obvious that we need to get rid of a few players. We’ve said this before and the dead wood has remained. However, we’ve been promised wholesale changes and we’ll hopefully get them. Jose Antonio Reyes has been mooted as has Francois Clerc and in other circles Gianpaoulo Pazzini. In all honesty, i’d only have 1 of them and that would be Francois Clerc. Its all rumours at the minute and we’ll wait and see.

Whenever theres a guesstimation in the paper i always take it with a pinch of salt. As Brian Clough once said “Dont believe anything in the papers, unless i’ve said it, then it’s all true.”
