Another fantastic result for the Toon last night.
In what turned out to be a rather exciting game which saw Martins, Cacapa and Milner all get on the scoresheet.
Another plus side was the return of Joey Barton to the side. He managed to get a good 20 minutes action.

Newcastle seem to have an almost full strength side tonight. This is with the exception of Shola Ameobi (Groin), Alan Smith (Suspended) and Viduka and Cacapa will face late fitness tests.
So all in all the injury front is looking quite good, which for us Toon fans is something we dont get to say very often.

Keegan had his best years at Newcastle United. The Toon were one of the biggest teams in the country and in my mind were the best team to have never won the Premier League.

Joey Barton survived 45 minutes of reserve action on Tuesday night but Allerdyce admitted that there will need to be more second string action before he is ready for the first team. All in all its good news.
